ACR Computers remote assistance is a new and easy way for us to help solve your problem faster. How it works, is when we have a problem that is just something that we're better at doing than explaining, we can guide you through the simple process of setting up your machine to allow us to connect to it directly. This makes it so you don't have to try and decipher all the computer jargon, and also, it makes it a lot easier for us to do what we do best. The remote assistance program itself is based on UltraVNC, and is a very small and lightweight program. The program does not leave any "spare files" lying around in your computer either.

If we decide that remote assistance is the best course of action for repairing your PC, we will normally guide you to this page, and tell you to download this program. Please note that if we don't tell you to do this, we wont have our VNC listening servers running. This means that a connection will only be made when we decide it is the best way to fix the problem.
