ACR History

ACR Computers first began in the foyer of the owner, Robert Zigler's Alliance home. (It was at that time called Alan's Computer Repair which is the basis for its current name) The business soon out grew its space and had to be moved to a double garage, converted into a store. A second location was added in New Franklin for a short time. It wasn't until November 1st of 1999 however that we had our first high-profile storefront at the corner of Oxford Street and Union Avenue. It was at that time the name ACR Computers began. The slogan then was "The little computer store with the great big deals!" But soon, ACR found it hard to fit that description, since the company had doubled in size in the first year and moved to a new location in the South Union Avenue Plaza across from the Alliance Auto Club.

ACR has relied on word of mouth advertising for many years and we would like to thank our loyal customers for sharing their satisfaction with others about their products and outstanding service. There are a lot of people who still don't know we are here, and we would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to those in the Alliance and surrounding areas to stop in and see us for their computer needs.

ACR prides itself on listening to the customer and answering their questions in easy to understand terms. Whether it's learning about the latest computer technology or simply how to get started with their first computer, ACR Computers is the place to go to get simple and straightforward answers. At ACR you will receive fast, friendly service. Most jobs are completed within two to three business days and same day repairs and computer builds are common when the workload permits.

Give us a call when looking for computers, parts or peripherals. We purchase from all over the United States to find the best deals for our customers and most of the time you will find we can beat or at least match the price you may find on the internet or at other locations. We are getting harder to beat as time goes by, because we know if you don't keep up with technology it will pass you by.
