What do I do if my USB device does not work?
Many times, the software for the device must be installed before you plug it in, or the installation software will specifically ask you to plug it in during the install.
The best course of action is to unplug the device, and follow the instructions that came with the device.
Please remember that sometimes, when you plug in a USB device before it is installed on your system, you can permanently damage the USB device. Always take care to read the instructions provided with it before installing any new device to prevent damage.

Why do you recommend AVG for Virus Protection?
Working with hundreds of infected computers each year, we have a chance to see virtually every anti virus program in use. That gives us a chance to see which programs work, and which ones do not. Many computers come to us with other antivirus programs, considered to be "the best", which are completely up-to-date. However, when scanned with AVG, many viruses are found.
Another issue with many of the leading anti virus programs is the permanent damage that they do to the speed of your system. After installing other anti virus program on your PC, you will notice a significant reduction in speed. Some reduction is to be expected with any program, due to the process of scanning and monitering your system, but even after removal of the program, your system will not return to normal.
Most viral programs don't do that much damage to your system.
